2026 Mazda CX-50

The 2.5 S Select establishes the lineup with standard i-Activ AWD®, wireless Apple CarPlay® integration, and Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go. It provides the CX-50's essential driving technology and all-weather capability without unnecessary complexity. The 2.5 S Preferred adds an 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat, a power liftgate, and front and rear parking sensors. These additions improve everyday convenience while preserving the straightforward character of the entry model. The 2.5 S Meridian Edition introduces a more adventurous appearance through 18-inch Black Metallic alloy wheels, black roof rails, and heated front seats. The 2.5 S Premium moves toward luxury with 20-inch machine-cut alloy wheels, ventilated front seats, and a windshield wiper de-icer. The 2.5 Turbo introduces Mazda's more powerful turbocharged engine, an Adaptive Front-lighting System, and increased towing capability. The 2.5 Turbo Meridian Edition combines that performance with off-road-inspired styling, a heated steering wheel, and Mazda navigation. At the top, the 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus adds a 360° View Monitor with See-through View, Cruising and Traffic Support, and additional advanced braking technology. It brings together the CX-50's strongest performance offering and its most comprehensive driver-assistance equipment.

Naturally aspirated CX-50 models use a SKYACTIV®-G 2.5L 4-cylinder producing 187 hp and 185 lbs. ft. of torque. Turbocharged variants increase output to as much as 256 hp and 320 lbs. ft. of torque with premium fuel. Every model includes standard i-Activ AWD® and Mazda Intelligent Drive Select, known as Mi-Drive, with Normal, Sport, Off-Road, and available Towing modes.

The CX-50 combines predictive all-wheel-drive technology with G-Vectoring Control Plus to maintain composed handling through corners and changing road conditions. Ground clearance ranges from 8.3 to 8.6 inches, providing additional room for uneven terrain and unpaved routes around Central Texas. Properly equipped naturally aspirated models can tow up to 2,000 lbs., while Turbo models increase maximum towing capacity to 3,500 lbs. The available Towing mode adjusts vehicle responses when pulling a trailer.

Seating for 5 is arranged within a driver-centered cabin that balances supportive seating, accessible controls, and carefully selected materials. Cargo capacity measures 31.4 cu. ft. behind the second row and expands to 56.3 cu. ft. with the rear seats folded. The flexible cargo area accommodates luggage, camping equipment, and recreational gear. Higher trims introduce ventilated front seats, upgraded interior appointments, and an available panoramic moonroof that brings additional light into the passenger compartment.

A 10.25-inch center infotainment display anchors the CX-50's digital interface, while Alexa Built-in provides voice control for navigation, music, climate settings, and compatible smart-home devices. Mazda Connected Services and the MyMazda App support remote engine start, vehicle location, and remote locking and unlocking through a complimentary 1-year trial. Available Mazda navigation, Bose® premium audio, and SiriusXM® expand the connectivity and entertainment options.

Standard i-Activsense® technologies include Smart Brake Support, Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane-keep Assist, and Mazda Radar Cruise Control. Higher trims introduce front and rear parking sensors, Smart Brake Support with Turn-Across Traffic and Front Crossing, Cruising and Traffic Support, and a 360° View Monitor with See-through View. These systems provide additional assistance when navigating Waco traffic, crowded parking areas, and longer journeys across Central Texas.
