The 2.5 S establishes the lineup with a SKYACTIV®-G 2.5L engine, standard i-Activ AWD®, a 12.9-inch center touchscreen, and Google built-in with a complimentary one-year Mazda Connected Services trial. Its specification provides the essential technology and mechanical features without unnecessary complexity. The 2.5 S Select introduces leatherette-trimmed seating with embossed microsuede inserts, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, and heated power-folding exterior mirrors. These additions give the cabin a more sophisticated appearance while maintaining the CX-5's approachable character. The 2.5 S Preferred adds 19-inch Black machine-cut alloy wheels, a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat with 2-position memory, and a programmable power rear liftgate. Its combination of convenience and improved seating adjustments makes it particularly appealing for longer journeys. Every 2026 CX-5 uses a SKYACTIV®-G 2.5L DOHC 4-cylinder engine producing 187 hp and 186 lbs. ft. of torque.
